Intel has been in pretty bad shape recently and is really trimming down their business going forward as they play catch up. But... They have done a good job keeping ARC drivers performing well. I know I only play world of war craft but I don't have any issue on the epic battle grounds. That is nice.

Update - Got it working. It must have been a loose connector. It is now heating my room.

A friend dropped off this beast tonight. I installed it and plugged in TWO 8-pin PCIE power leads. But upon boot, the screen reads “plug in PCIE power to use this GPU”

Is my 650Watt not big enough??

I like to do stuff differently. I want to support a new player in the GPU market. But I am eyeing up the new AMD release.

Its in my i5-12600k. For the first time ever, I turned up the graphics settings in World of Warcraft and it is a completely different game.

My Daughter is pushing me to get emulation going. I downloaded MAME and managed to find my beloved 1983 Starwars game (the old vector graphics). I am hooked.

I admit, trying to find ROMS is a struggle, and I am losing patience. How did you get your ROMs?

I saw that; I am wondering what their plans are for GPUs going forward. Radeon? Perhaps Intel Arc but I heard rumors Intel will not be developing the Arc family further.
